Georgia choose for Intercontinental

Off down South America way
Georgia's coaches, Malkhaz Tcheishvili and David Chavleishvili, have chosen their squad to take part in the new Copa Intercontinental with Portugal, Chile and Uruguay in a co-operative venture between CONSUR (the South American rugby body) and FIRA/AER ( their European counterpart). The squad excludes players playing professional rugby in France. They will join the team on its return to France ion readiness for the European Cup of Nations. Their first match is against Russia in Krasnodar on 20 November. The Lelos then play Portugal in February before going off on three match tour of Southern Africa in which they play two matches in South Africa and a Test against Namibia. The new caps are Vakhtang Pailodze, Akaki Sanadze, George Sanikidze, Irakli Ninidze, George Jghenti, David Zerakashvili, Archil Kopaleishvili, Beka Sardanashvili and Roin Chikvaidze.
