IRB Pacific Rugby Cup

The International Rugby Board (IRB) today announced the schedule for the 2007 IRB Pacific Rugby Cup. The Tournament, which involves two representative teams from each of Fiji, Samoa and Tonga, will kick-off on March 31st.

World XV - 2006

It has very much been a year of black and red the world over. On the international stage the All Blacks have conquered all, often with consummate ease, and have collected awards galore for their efforts. Meanwhile England have been under dark clouds for much of the time, embarking on a record losing streak and the departure of Head Coach Andy Robinson.

A look back at the rugby year

It has been another action-packed year of rugby, with more matches than ever before - indeed, sometimes bordering on over-saturation.

November's Team of the Tests

That was quite a month! Another irresistible clean sweep by the All Blacks, the plunge of England from average to downright mediocre, the emergence of Argentina as a top-six rugby nation, and of Ireland as genuine Rugby World Cup 2007 contenders.

O'Sullivan reflects on a fine finish

A typically understated Eddie O'Sullivan has hailed Ireland's clean sweep of victories from their November internationals as a "good month's work".
