Good news: Tindall expected to face Wales

England have been handed a significant boost at centre as Mike Tindall is making a 'good recovery' from the back injury that kept him out of the opening Six Nations 2009 victory over Italy.

According the RFU, it is expected that the Gloucester man will be available for selection to face Wales on Saturday, while Ugo Monye has also recovered from his own back injury.

The England Senior Elite Player Squad trained at the indoor facility at the Madejski Stadium on Monday due to the adverse weather conditions.

David Wilson (Newcastle) and Jordan Crane (Leicester) trained with the squad and provided cover for the front and back-rows due to a number of players suffering from general soreness after Saturday's match.

Paul Hodgson (London Irish) has been called up as an injury replacement for Danny Care (Harlequins) who will not be fit enough for selection for the coming weekend.
