CAR U/18 tournaments

Nairobi and Bulawayo venues

The Confederation of African Rugby has two Under-18 tournaments due to take place in Nairobi and Bulawayo to decide the Africa representative at the IRB's 2005 Under-19 World Championship.

The winner of the Nairobi tournament and the winner of the Bulawayo tournament will meet in a semi-final to decide who will play the winner of the North Zone in Nigeria in August. The winner of that North-South clash will go to the World Championship.

The teams taking part are:

Nairobi: Kenya, Uganda, Madagascar
Bulawayo: Zimbabwe, Zambia, Namibia, Botswana.

The Nairobi tournament starts on 6 July. The tournament director is Aoka Gecheo.

The matches, with their match officials, who are all Kenyans, are as follows:

6 July:

Kenya vs Uganda
Referee: Godwin Karuga
Touch judges: Paul Weloba, Raymond Oruo

8 July:

Uganda vs Madagascar
Referee: Raymond Oruo
Touch judges: Paul Weloba, Godwin Karuga

10 July:

Kenya vs Madagascar
Referee: Ramsey Fidel Olinga (Uganda)
Touch judges: Paul Weloba, Godwin Karuga

The Bulawayo tournament starts on 5 August.

The match officials will be from Namibia and South Africa.
