Edinburgh cruised to a 48-0 win over 14-man Treviso running in six tries in the process.
Treviso headed into the game in poor form, having lost their last three matches in all competitions, while Edinburgh were looking to secure a third win on the spin.
And the contest followed the form book as the hosts exerted their dominance from start to finish to win handsomely.
It took just 44 second for Sam Hidalgo-Clyne to cross for the game's first try and put Edinburgh in front. Hidalgo-Clyne converted his own try and added a penalty on 17 minutes to give the hosts a cushion.
He was on target with the boot once more on 25 minutes when Mike Coman was at the back of a drive to score Edinburgh's second try.
It remained 17-0 until half-time and there was no way back for Treviso after the break. Hidalgo-Clyne put 20 points between the sides on 50 minutes with another penalty - and Edinburgh underlined their dominance in the minutes that followed.
Willem Nel got over the line following an intense period of pressure, and Hidalgo-Clyne converted.
And shortly after Grayson Hart crossed the line just moments after being introduced from the bench.
Hart and Romulo Acosta then got into a scrap that saw the Edinburgh scrum-half binned, while the Treviso man was given a red card.
Tom Heathcote had converted Hart's try, and he was on target twice more as Roddy Grant crossed for a fifth try on 71 minutes and David Denton scored in the final minute to pile on the misery for winless Treviso.
