Tipoki, Harding move on
The New Zealand Rugby Union (NZRU) on Wednesday confirmed the names of 38 players who have transferred for the 2005 National Provincial Championship, with a number of interesting moves between the various provinces. The most noteworthy of them all are the transfers of Rua Tipoki and Tom Harding, who will both play for North Harbour in 2005. The decision by openside flanker Harding to transfer from Dunedin to North Harbour is a big blow for the struggling Otago side. Tipoki, who was on loan to Bay of Plenty in this year's NPC, has transferred from Waikato. Transfers for 2005: Gullivers Sports Travel offers the best value supporters' tours to Six Nations matches, the Dubai Sevens, Rugby World Cup Sevens and, the summit of rugby, the British & Irish Lions' Tour to New Zealand. Plus tours for clubs and schools. For more information, visit Gulliversports.co.uk |
