Tough journey for the Mooloo Men
Bay of Plenty, who sneaked into the semi-finals of the Air New Zealand NPC with a gutsy 14-9 away victory against North Harbour at the weekend, have the unenviable task of travelling to Christchurch where they will meet Ranfurly Shield holders Canterbury at the Jade Stadium on Saturday. With the league stage of the competition over, Wellington finished top, followed by Canterbury, Bay of Plenty and Waikato. The first semi-final will be played on Friday, October 15, between Wellington and Waikato at Westpac Stadium in Wellington. The other semi-final is on Saturday, October 16, between Canterbury and Bay of Plenty at Jade Stadium in Christchurch. Both matches will kick-off at 19.35 local time (08.35 GMT).
