'Un petit score' enough for Biarritz

The weather was not good down on the Bay of Biscay and the field was wet and slippery when Biarritz beat Clermont Auvergne 9-0 on Saturday afternoon.

For reigning champions Biarritz, whose season has been up and down, the victory is important after their last home match, when they lost 14-7 to Stade Français.

Both kickers, Stephen Jones of Clermont and Dimitri Yachvili of Biarritz, missed kicks at goal in the rain.

But scrum-half Yachvili was successful with the winning three, one just before half-time and two in the second half.
