Clash of the Centurions

Win tickets to the legends showcase

You can be there when two of world rugby's heavy-weights battle it out for supremacy at the Millennium Stadium on Sunday, June 6.

Jenkins and Leonard: Head to head

The match, a classic Wales (in red) v England (in white) contest will be the final curtain call for world points record holder Neil Jenkins, and England's world record cap holder, Jason Leonard.

In terms of experience, there will be a fortune on the field. In terms of numbers, that means: Jenkins' 1 049 points for Wales (and a world record 1 090 Test points overall), versus Leonard's 114 international caps (and a world record 118 Test appearances overall). The truly historic battle is a fitting farewell for two of Britain's favourite sons.

To make sure you don't miss out, Planet Rugby and the Welsh Rugby Union are giving away two pairs of tickets to the Battle of the Centurions on June 6.

Simply answer this easy question and mail it, along with your details (full name and day-time telephone number) to us at: [email protected]
Q: By what nickname is Neil Jenkins affectionately known?

Closing date: Wednesday June 2, 10.00 GMT.
- The winner will be drawn randomly and be notified by phone.
- Prizes CANNOT be exchanged for cash.

Jenkins said of the event: "It promises to be a pretty emotional ending to my career." He last appeared at the Millennium Stadium when he made his 100th appearance in a Welsh jersey against the Barbarians last season.

"I've already dished out a few beatings to Jason down the years - well, just the two in 1993 and 1999 - and I'll be looking for the hat-trick to thrill what we both hope will be a big, family orientated crowd."

Leonard agrees they've been big rivals through the years, but he adds: "I've got to know Neil very well on two Lions tours and we are also good friends. He's a legend in Wales, but also way beyond that.

"If you wanted someone in your side to kick the winning goal then you would look no further than the Ginger Monster. The only problem for me on 6 June is that he is going to be on the wrong side!"

*Tickets for the game at the Millennium Stadium on 6 June are available from the WRU ticket line: 08705 582582. There is a special family package on offer for only £39 for either 1 adult and 3 children or 2 adults and 2 children.
Other ticket prices will be £26 and £19 for adults and £13 and £10 for children. There will also be hospitality packages from £80 to £95.
