McRae back for Gloucester

Crunch at Kingsholm

Stade Francais top Pool 6 with 19 points while Gloucester are in 14 Gloucester will be flat out to get the maximum five points for the match. They also need to keep Stade pointless.

That would take Gloucester level with Stade on points if Stade get no points at all from the match. Then tries count, and at the moment Stade lead 5-3 after beating Gloucester 39-31 in Paris and scoring five tries to three.

Gloucester coach Dean Ryan said: "We have got to go out and be positive, and when we do that it tends to suit what we are trying to do as a team.

"We just hope we can get a bit of rhythm early on, get a lead, get the crowd behind us and build the pressure."

Gloucester have Duncan McRae back, the most competitive of flyhalves, back from injury along with James Forrester. McRae comes in for Simon Amor, Forrester, who came on off the bench against Ulster and was recently named in the 42-man England squad, for Adam Balding who is on the bench this time

Fabien Galthié has made just one change to the Stade Français starting team - brought Olivier Brouzet off the bench to lock in place of Mike James who subsides to the bench

In the only change to the bench French star Sylvain Marconnet, who is ion the way back from injury, takes the place of Uruguayan international Pablo Lemoine.
