Biarritz consider quarters in Spain

Over the border to San Sebastian
It's a short journey in the Basque country from the Atlantic resort of Biarritz in France to the Atlantic resort of San Sebastian in Spain, but the big difference is the stadium. Should Biarritz make the quarter-final they would like to play it in San Sebastian and will ask European Rugby Cup's permission to do so.. Biarritz's Parc des Sports d'Aguilera holds some 12 000 spectators. Across the border in San Sebastian is Estadio Anoeta, the home ground of the premier division club Real Sociedad. Anoeta is a thoroughly modern stadium,. built in 1993 and holding 32 000 spectators. San Sebastian is only some 50 km around the Bay of Biscay from Biarritz.
