All Six Nations internationals, as well as the popular Heineken European Cup, are all shown on BBC1's Grandstand programme live or in a highlight package. The BBC for the likes of Scotland, Wales and Ulster also tend to show the related internationals as well more European Cup action. For more information, try the BBC website.

SKY

Sky Sports has the rights to all of England's November internationals at Twickenham plus selected other games such as overseas tours. During the domestic season (August to May) Sky also transmit a live English Premiership game on Saturday afternoons plus selected games from the Powergen Cup. Sky also shows the Tri-Nations series live and in 2001 a weekly Super 12 game live. It also has other selected global rugby live, including the NPC and Currie Cup final.

ITV

As in 1999, ITV have the rights to the RWC 2003.

ITV will be showing every single game live on their two channels, either the free-to-air terrestrial channel ITV1 or the digital channel ITV2.

All the 'major' games will be live on ITV1, 21 in all including most of the Home Unions' Pool games and two QFs, both SFs and the Final.

Other

Also Eurosport, available with most satellite packages, shows Heineken Cup games live.

In Wales, all Wales' Six Nations games (except against England in England) are broadcast live by BBC Wales and S4C digital shows many of the home internationals with Welsh language commentary.

S4C Digital also shows Celtic League games and is available throughout the UK, on a free-to-view basis, but only via the Sky Digital network. 2W Digital (BBC 2 Wales Digital) and S4C-Digidol each cover a different live Welsh-Scottish game every week (Friday and Saturday evenings respectively). They each also broadcast highlights programmes (S4C-Digidol Sunday lunchtime repeated Monday evening, and 2W on Sunday evening). Furthermore, S4C~ also broadcasts a weekly review of French Club rugby on Tuesday evenings.

Both S4C-Digidol and 2W are available throughout the UK via Sky Digital on channels 184 and 961 respectively.
