In Geneva, there are a number of good sports bars, try the Mr. Pickwick Pub (the oldest pub in Switzlerland - est. 1969; is independent and does not belong to the chain of Pickwicks in the German speaking part of Switzerland).

In Lausanne, the White Horse pub in Ouchy has Sky TV and also sponsors one of the main city clubs Stade Lausanne. There's usually a small crowd down there on international days or during the Heineken Cup.

Several pubs in Zurich have Sky Digital plus various cable channels which means that even if the game is not on Sky or BBC, it may be on French of Italian TV and will be on view. The strong recommendation for watching live rugby is the Oliver Twist, Rindermarkt 6, which sponsors the local Rugby Club, tel: (01) 252 47 10
