Out goes 'unattached' in Canada

The Churchill Cup's final round is being played in Canada on Saturday and it would seem that the principle of appointing unattached referees seems to have gone by the board.

England A play the New Zealand Maori in the Men's final and the referee is an Englishman. Canada play the USA in the Women's 3rd/4th place play-off, and the referee is a Canadian.

Donal Courtney of Ireland will referee the second Test in the series between Argentina and Wales. He refereed the first Test in Tucumán. Alan Lewis was down to do the second Test but has been injured. Courtney will now do the second.
