Dave McHugh in the big one in Melbourne
There are several Tests and tour matches from June 20-25. The biggest of them all will no doubt be in Melbourne when England, fresh from beating the All Blacks in Wellington, play Australia. Dave McHugh of Ireland will referee that one.
It is interesting to note that Peter Marshall has recovered. He withdrew from the New Zealand-England match because of hamstring problems but is back as the reserve referee/touch judge for the New Zealand-Wales match.
Apart from these friendly Tests/match practices/trials, there is the last match of the European Nations Cup.
The Czech Republic plays Romania in Prague. The Czech players had threatened to strike, amongst other things to have their plate of pre-match pasta paid.
